An evening of great live music from:
SUZIE GLASS
http://www.myspace.com/suziedglass

Her music begins with her fingers... She sits down at her piano and when they touch the keys melodies escape her mouth. It's as simple as that really. From that point the picture is formed it doesn't take much time to develop into something she would hang on her wall and be proud of. She doesm't write music to be selfindulgent. Music should be listened too and shared!!

URUSEN
http://www.myspace.com/urusen

Cousins Peter Beatty and Ben Please, originally from the South West of England, formed Urusen in 2002. Since then they’ve self-produced and released two albums, Life Under Seat (2003) and One Day in June (2007), the last of which saw Urusen meet three like-minded musicians in London and become a full-time five piece band. These are cellist Nick Ullmann, bassist Jay Darwish, and drummer Kieran Houston.
It was also One day in June that led to acclaim in the UK music press and a publishing deal with Peter Gabriel’s RealWorld. Fresh from performing at festivals in Summer 2009, including Glastonbury, Larmer Tree and Womad, it’s their live gigs that have been turning heads and in their rise from grass roots up into the current scene of indie folk they have been recognised by the music industry’s main rag, Music Week, as ‘British breakthrough talent – set to make an impact on the industry in the months to come.’
'Initially delicate, Urusen swell into something sweepingly memorable... one to watch' Metro Newspaper
'Acoustic pop that uses harmony and melody to evoke lazy summer afternoons’ Acoustic Magazine
'Sunshine-dripping, optimistic melancholy of Belle and Sebastian nuzzles & charms' Loud And Quiet
